Howard states, “The best thing about our culture? The work hard, play hard mentality.”
The Vision behind GT’s Foundation
Howard’s goal was to create the happiest place to work! As professionals, we spend more waking hours working than we do at home with our families. Those work hours should be a positive experience for all team members. GT created a healthy, vibrant, caring work environment that lends itself to positive client experiences. Its hands-on approach leads to satisfied clients who are its best referral sources for new clients.

Howard is extremely passionate about the success of its team members and clients. GT’s partners work tirelessly to help its clients meet their professional and personal goals and objectives. The GT team challenges itself to provide an environment that encourages them to grow and succeed in the work they do.
During situations of crisis, be it the pandemic or the economic conditions, Howard believes that flexibility and the ability to address the unique geographical needs of its clients and team members are essential to lead an organization.
As a business leader and entrepreneur, Howard’s life is fast-paced and challenging. Be it dealing with day-to-day operations or confronting challenges, Howard practices the art of deep breathing and meditation to keep his calm in times of storm, and exercises to stay fit and healthy. He summons up by stating, “I am also the ultimate optimist. I believe that a positive frequency yields positive results.”
A One-of-its-Kinds Workplace Culture
Howard believes that business owners must recognize that there are significant generational differences between firm management and younger associates and professionals.
GT’s workplace culture is unusual yet productive in its best way leading by example and introducing a way of working and coexisting that best fits its goals, visions, and virtues.
Howard explains the unique work culture, “We operate in what many would call a “counter-intuitive” approach to productivity. We encourage water-cooler talk. Rather than cubicles, we have collaboration spaces for our younger team members so they can problem-solve together. We push our people to try new and more challenging tasks. Allowing team members to experiment in different technical areas (for example, tax, cyber security, forensic consulting), they can determine what they enjoy most and then focus their careers in that direction.”
A Bright and Mighty Future
In the next five years, Howard sees himself managing GT on a more national and global basis which calls for careful, intelligent growth both in terms of geographic locations and service offerings. The company strives to identify true leaders who can grow into exceptional managers to lead its firm into the future.
