AI chatbots are assigned a task to run a tech company, and they finish the job in under 7 minutes at $1

Today, AI technology is employed in various industries to conduct multiple tasks. Ai makes it easy to process repeated tasks with high accuracy. Technology has been proven more efficient in managing the factories and increasing production capacity.

More importantly, the AI technology does not need a break, thus allowing the producer to keep the AI working throughout the day. AI-powered factories are generating more production compared to the traditionally run companies.

Therefore, the tech companies are building a program powered by AI technology to run the manufacturing companies’ operations. In a recent test program, the company found that the AI could develop software in under seven minutes, costing less than $1.

We have already seen the capability of the Artificial Intelligence chatbots such as OpenAI and ChatGPT. It can do many things simultaneously and progress as more users line up to use them.

It learns from the users’ input, upgrades the system without human interference, and comes up with a modern solution to solve the problem based on the collected data.

AI could run the entire tech company using the automated software. It is quick, cost-effective, and requires minimal human interaction to run the application. A study has shown that AI technology identifies the problem and corrects itself to improve the speed of the outcome.

Findings came to light when the researcher published another study that runs the large language model to operate the virtual town.

Additionally, a team of researchers from Brown University and Chinese universities are developing AI bots similar to ChatGPT’s new model to perform the software development.

The instruction will be fed into the Chatbot to complete the development itself. It will run without any prior training; thus, the entire software-building process will be conducted by AI using its inbuilt knowledge.

Research develops hypothetical software companies to test their theory and observe how the AI performs the task. The company was named ChatDev, which was used to complete the task.

Development begins with the approach of the waterfall model to create software. The company is broken down into four stages in chronological order: designing, coding, testing, and documenting.

Bots have assigned specific roles to perform vital details, fixed tasks, and roles with communication protocols and termination criteria.

AI performs the task in the sequence. Once one task is complete, it moves to another and corrects itself if it makes a mistake during the coding. Each AI bot will have specific roles allocated to their respective stages; thus, the chances of failure are close to none.

ChatDeve can work on the designing stage, where programming and art design perform in the coding stage. At every step, the software was performed independently without human interference.

Also, it knew where to stop and how to make the changes in the application to correct the issue and make the software run smoothly. It can identify the bugs accurately and improve the code simultaneously until it finds the necessary solution. It stops the operation when the software development is complete.

Researchers have run experiments on various software scenarios to see how the AI reacts to complex problems. A series of analyses is done throughout the process by the ChatDeve application. It gave the necessary inputs to the application and got the perfect outcome as expected.

Ultimately, the team found surprising results when the cost to build the enterprise software was calculated. Software development have cost way less than traditional practices. Therefore, the software-building process was cost-efficient and more effective in making the digital ecosystem for the company.

The researcher also gave a different task to ChatDev to design an abstract strategy board game named “Five in a row.”

The developer wants to find the correct solution to satisfy the programming needs of the companies. Programming language simplicity would help the future AI tool to work more efficiently and produce faster results.

ChatDev received 70 tasks in this process, and the AI-powered company could finish the task using the full software development process in under seven minutes. Also, when the cost is calculated, it is found that the entire process can be done in dollar one. It can also identify vulnerabilities through memory and self-reflection capabilities.

The experiment was successful and demonstrated the efficiency of the automated software. It is good news for the companies because they do not have to spend their time and money on expensive software applications. The AI would help them to get the necessary tools and support in production.
