His first professional assignment after graduation placed him right at the heart of a major national project in Abuja, Nigeria’s new Federal Capital Territory. Working on the design and supervision of external telecommunication line infrastructure, he found himself collaborating on a joint venture with a Brazilian firm. A visit to São Paulo followed, offering him exposure that would leave a lasting impression. It was there that the idea of consulting engineering took deeper root. His journey led him to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he pursued a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. There, he worked with an engineering manufacturing company, gaining hands-on experience in CAD and CAM systems that were rapidly shaping modern engineering practices at the time.

His capabilities soon earned him an opportunity to teach as an adjunct faculty member, where he handled Engineering Graphics. With a graduate degree completed and valuable experience behind him, Mr. Sadiku turned his attention to professional licensing. He began the process with determination, successfully passing the required examinations and earning his engineering license in 1996.
